We are dedicated to uncovering children’s natural music talents by developing their rhythmic, lyrical, harmonic and instrumental languages and skills with a focus on piano. We are dedicated to teaching and exercising children’s musicianship so they will have a lifelong source of inner expression, creativity, happiness and fulfillment. The Children’s School of Music follows the Harmony Road Method & Philosophy of piano and musica; instruction We teach children to be fond of music and develop musical skills such that they are able to create meaningful interpretations of music, form ideas and opinions about music, and utilize their musical skills in creative and imaginative ways throughout life Diligience is “constant and earnest effort to accomplish what is underatken”. At The Children’s School of Music, we make instruct in a way that is enjoyable for children to learn music, such that they want to stick with it, to practice, and and to further develop their musical abilities. Likewise, our Instructors value diligence in teaching with all our students and ensuring each child has the opportunity to advance their skills at challenging but comfortable pace. Our method of teaching music, using the Harmony Road program, puts each child’s self expression of music as a priority over specific technique. While we teach proper musical theory and technique, we are most rewarded as Instructors when we see children be Self-Expressive leveraging the musical skills they have learned. While we teach in a group format, we also pay specific attention to the individual needs of each child. The interests and learning abilities of each child are distinguished win the group classes. We encourage individual self-expression, individual rates of learning, and are also able to work with Special Needs children within our program.
