Be careful! The fine print in the contract states that without a cancelation form being submitted; charges will continue to be billed to your credit card even if the child in no longer attending.

My grand-child contracted a staph infection at Gymboree that caused many visits to the peditrician and extreme care was needed for the child. My daughter called to let the center know that the child was ill and would not be returning. I live out of town and did not have a copy of the contract I was paying. When my daughter called she was not told to come in and sign a cancellation notice; this would have been done immediately. I did not receive a call. After attending a whole year not one inquiry was made as to the well being of the child or why the child was not attending classes that had been regularly attended. No concern was exteded to my daughter, the child or myself.
One year had been paid without delays and for several classes; play, dance, art, etc. All done in good faith and long distance. Gymboree called promptly when the block paid would expire and payments for another block would be maid $300 at a time. Yet, when the child stopped going they went to a monthly billing that had never occurred prior the child getting sick at Gymboree. They will not take a verbal cancellation and will continue to charge knowing the child is not returning.
The management is not giving any consideration to the extenuating cirmcumstances and that I live out of town. I personally will not recommend Gymboree to anyone and neither will my family.
