I studied with Bob in 1975 !! while playing there in a band Haywire with local Ted Mortimer, who also studied with Bob.

Hope you read these reviews, Bob! I played for a while, then went back to computer software, for the money and security. Ted M went on to become a great guitarist. We both went to Dartmouth, Ted lives back there.

See drburma.com for Ted Ms band, R&B and jazz.

My son Ethan K just graduated from Berklee, plays jazz guitar. We play duos monthly at Rumpys in Lenox MA as K2. I mostly play 5-string electric bass now, everybody plays guitar :-)

See youtube channel Ethan KMusic for son, and I on one vocal at Ryles jazz club in Boston.

Hey Bob THANKS for the lessons. I was a mix of self-taught, but could read from choir and accordion of all things. Polish, you know :-) But I'm a math whiz, it all made sense when Bob taught me numbers. I STILL have trouble telling people what letters I'm playing.

Bob, re ignited a passion for music and patiently taught jazz, blues modern rock and transribed music written for other instruments. He taught my son as well.

Bob Brown is a special musician. I took lessons from him for years and everything I know I learned from him. He has a fantastic ear, he is a great sight reader, he knows theory and he can really play. He can explain to you rather than just show you. I moved out of Albuquerque and wish I was there because I'd still be taking lessons from him. He's the only guitar teacher I ever had who helped me. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Fantastic musican and a very cool guy.

I had the privelage of studying guitar with him for a couple of years back in the early 90's. Had a special connection with him because he knows my wive's uncles very well whom also played in bands, Bob is a fantastic teacher and made guitar fun. I'd take in Judas Priest, AC/DC, Cinderella etc and he'd listen and then show me what was going on. loved taking lessons from him.

I had the pleasure of guitar lessons with Bob from 1963 until around 1983.
I was 9 yrs old when my lessons started. What a fantastic time I had learning from him.
I miss him and if I could I'd still be enjoy playing and learning with him again.
If you get the special oppertunity to study with him...don't pass it by.
