The owner, Tommy is completely incompetent and childish. I brought in my Alvarez Dy61 for some repairs, which he told me he needed a luthier to look at to quote. He said he would get back to me on Tuesday - I brought the guitar in on a Saturday. I didn't hear from him called on Friday, he said he hadn't heard from luthier. I called agiain, same thing, got the luthiers number and called him, and got no response. Two weeks to the day of giving Tommy my guitar, I dropped by his shop to see what was what. He promised to get me an answer asap. The following Wednesday, I called again and he still knew nothing - two and a half weeks after I gave him my guitar! So I got pissed, yelled at him and he hung up on me. I called back and told him to get me my guitar back immediately cuz at this point I was going to call the cops. He didn't like my reaction but who cares right? I go by the shop a few days later to pick up guitar. I didn't give him a hard time, but he decides to announce to his two other customers as witnesses that I'm banned from his store that if I ever come back I'll be trespassing and he'll call the cops. I lost it, told him off explained the situation to the other customers at which point he came around the counter at me with his dog, telling me to leave or he would call the cops. I told him to put the dog away and come outside, but of course he's not only screw up but a pussy too. Bottom line - he's a complete dick and no musician should do business with him

Jeff Griffin is THE best instructor in the Atlanta area! He can teach any style, rock, jazz, blue grass ,metal ,country, etc....If you consider yourself a pro level player take a lesson from Jeff you will be amazed at what you will learn. He warms up with Van Halens eruption solo, then glides from Chet and Les Paul picking classics. Nice guy too easy going no ego. A music degree in guitar from Georgia State dont hurt either. I have had the pleasure to perform with him live a few times and it is always a joy to play with him! Tommy has a great selection of guitars and basses and amps in his shop also. Lots of vintage stuff as well as new.

I have been taking lessons from Jeff Griffin. He is an excellent instructor and a great guitar, banjo, mandolin player. Last year I went to a first class guitar camp with the best instructors in the world. They affirmed everything that Jeff is teaching me. Tommy Allen is the owner of Premier Guitars and he and Jeff create a friendly, low key environment. I am 59 years old and it is a little frightening to take lessons at my age. But these guys make it safe and fun. So I highly recommend them. Top of the line lessons with very friendly folk,
