It's almost hard to describe a man so amazing.?Let me put it to you this way: If you pay attention, and practice what he teaches you on a regular basis, you will be the best guitar player out of anybody that you know.?I've taken lessons from a few people when I moved away from CA, and it was highly depressing, because nobody has the combination of this man's work ethic, personality, SKILLS, teaching ability, and kind heart like he does. I haven't had a lesson from Craig in 15 years, and not a month goes by where I wish I could go back to CA and get more lessons. I had lost Craig's info for many years, and just today I found this site. I obviously had to give him the praise that he deserves.?I'm serious. If you want to get really good, really fast, and love every minute of it, take lessons from Craig Beck. I've been taking guitar lessons (electric) from him for about 4 years and I'd highly recommend him. He's very patient and truly appears to enjoy teaching. His students' age ranges vary as he is popular with the young and the not so young. I've referred friends and neighbors to him and they are pleased as well with his caliber of teaching. Bring in your ipod or a CD and he'll teach you any song you want to learn! Great Teacher! Craig is a great guitar teacher. He really takes the time to know his students and create personalized lesson. Craig goes through and teaches every song step by step to ensure the students are not making any mistakes. Seeing the lights go on in a student's eyes after learning a song or musical concept he or she thought was beyond their capability is a rewarding experience. To make the learning process easier for students, I record a slowed down version of the song they are practicing which allows them to play with the artist immediately. Jam tracks with bass and drums are provided for use at home. This allows each student to practice soloing with a band in the style of music he or she enjoys. Learning to write your own songs is presented in a clear and simple method. Many students have gone on to form their own bands, record CD's and even tour.
