I have been performing on drums and percussion for about 25 years. I have been teaching off and on for about 10 years, steadily since 2001. I teach beginning drum set and school band percussion, also intermediate to advance snare drum and drum set.
In my private studio I have a full sized marimba and drum set, as well as snare drum. I am a successful trainer and preparer of students for auditions, chair placements, OMEA Solo and Ensemble works, and military auditions.
Personally I have vast experience in performing in a variety of groups and situations including but not ,imeted to drum corps, college jazz band, community orchestra, musical, and most drum set styles including latin, rock, funk, jazz/swing, and popular music styles from the past 50 years.
