Reviews  By Angie G from OKC, OK Posted Sep 19, 2010 This is not actually a review but a note to Carolyn. I just saw the show involving you and your daughter for the 2nd time on TV. Each time that I have seen it, I have been deeply touched. I looked up the name of the music store as well as the barber shop that the program showed at the beginning of the segment. I don't know when it originally aired and I hope that your cancer continues to be in remission. I too have a chronic condition that is slowly damaging my organs and will eventually take my life. The reason I'm writing this is that you have given me hope. Even though my son is still in the area as time goes by we see less and less of each other. I'm not sure of the reason exactly except that it's been his choice to basically shut me out of his life. He is less than 1 mile away on the weekends and yet I may see him once every couple of months and only for a few months. I know I have made mistakes as a single parent but am hoping our relationship will improve before it is too late. After seeing your story and how your relationship with your daughter has improved after everything that has happened, I am trying to keep hope alive for mine and his.
