All of our instructors are seasoned players with at least 10-15 years playing experience (more than that for most of us) and 10-15 years teaching experience for many of us. Most of us are professional musicians and music is our full time job. Many of us have taken several college music courses and some of us possess music degrees. Nontheless, our experience is our most valuable asset. Our resumes are at the front desk for anyone wishing to read them, and please feel free to ask to meet any of us before signing up. We will gladly address your concerns and play a little something for you. The lower price does not mean our lessons are inferior. What it does mean is that we understand the current financial crisis and want to make lessons affordable for as many students as possible. We are able to do this due to 2 main factors: 1) high volume of students enrolled, 2) costs of doing business are subsidized by sales of instruments and other products. As an instructor, I can say I am fortunate to not work for a greedy shop owner who charges students more and gives the instructor less. I know plenty of instructors at other shops who make less per hour than me and the shop charges a higher rate. Give Bayshore Music a try, you won't be disappointed.
